Customer & Sales Support Executive

York, UK

Due to continued growth, Cellhire is looking for a Customer & Sales Support Executive to join our support team. This is an exciting time to join Cellhire as we further develop our product portfolio, onboard new partner customers, and enhance our capability across several other departments.

Key responsibilities:
  • Monitor the various sales and support email inboxes throughout the day, process orders, deal with customer queries, and handle general enquiries for further information.
  • Answer inbound calls, deal with customer support queries, and redirect calls to the relevant departments where necessary.
  • Deal with sales enquiries from the company website, qualify and pass them on to the appropriate Sales team.
  • Update systems, maintain customer data and sales activity information.
    Other duties and activities
  • Input all orders daily, ensuring they are on the system ready for despatch in a timely manner and provide order confirmation to the customer.
  • Check and monitor online orders throughout the day, process and action accordingly.
  • Liaise with the Sales teams to validate order information when required.
  • Assist with the resolution of customer issues, investigate the root cause, apply corrective actions and suggest preventative actions moving forward.
  • Respond to pricing requests using information from the Sales team.
  • Respond to sales enquiries and forward qualified sales opportunities to the appropriate Sales team.
  • Ensure that the full range of products and services are promoted and explained to customers when appropriate.
  • Liaise with the Operations department regarding costs and timescales for the despatching of large or multiple orders to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Make courtesy calls to follow up on activities and ensure customer retention and identify future sales opportunities.
    Skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with a strong emphasis on professional email communication. Professional telephone manner, able to communicate clearly and concisely to business customers.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Accurate and efficient administration, including the use of company systems and software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook (email & calendar), Word and Excel
  • Problem-solving, including identification of root cause and improvements.
  • Ability to recognise a sales opportunity.
    Experience (desirable, but not essential):
  • Experience within a customer admin and/or sales support role in an office environment
  • Experience in working with technology-based solutions
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry
  • Experience working with business customers (B2B)
